Wicked Tuna School

This school was built in its coastal New England town in 1965. The building layout was very different and considered to be more confusing than normal schools. This, in turn, led to a difficult time managing the school itself. Operational costs began to outweigh keeping the school open. Before attempting to close down completely, they kept the administrative staff working in the building for a number of years. They are permitted events in the auditorium occasionally, but the fate of the school was inevitable. Operations were shut down completely in 2007 when it was decided the schools' budgets needed to be properly balanced.
