Where the Wild Things Are....n't anymore...
These initial photographs, taken by KC, depict the famous murals inside the Rockland Children's Center. Unfortunately, this artwork was unable to be saved, as it was painted directly on the plaster wall.
Employees at the Children's Day Care Center obviously put a lot of passion into their job. It was a shame to see it all thrown away.

This hallway was littered with cheap American booze, and had been for some time. Either employees were drinking on the job, or someone was having fun years before we even got there!
The Beginning of the End
Around mid-2016 and early 2017, when terms like "bando" began trending on Instagram and Snapchat, places that we had frequented for nearly a decade suddenly rose in popularity. This fad brought a serious amount of unwanted attention as a wave of social media influence caused an uptick in vandalism and other attention seeking behavior. A hobby that had otherwise remained fairly discrete was now on blast in mainstream media. Many dispute this has anything to do with what has happened to places, as we ourselves even once didn't believe it to be true... but we will let you be the judge.
