1994

The following set of photographs is from what we believe is to be a gathering of staff at a team-building event, dated 1994. These pictures were taken both on the grounds and inside the Children's Daycare Center *identities have been obscured

1987

This New York State Department of Mental Hygiene Laboratory Slip, dated 1987, was testing the blood level of Tegretol, aka carbamazepine. This medication is used to treat bi-polar disorder as well as manage some forms of seizures and nerve pain.

1983

This newspaper clipping, circa 1983, was in pretty rough shape when we found it. Through the magic of Photoshop, I was able to somewhat restore it to its former glory.

1990

This mostly blank patient file from 1990 gives you a slight glimpse into the types of things a doctor might have to check off on a medical form. A pharmacist would then place copies of the prescription labels right on the chart.

Undated

This medical chart, presumably from the late 1980's, shows a patient being admitted to the "Deaf" unit for Paranoid Schizophrenia, and his prescribed medications.

1981

This admission slip, dated 1981, shows a Yonkers housewife being transferred to Rockland Psychiatric Center via a crisis unit for severe depression.
