St. John's Catholic Church

St. John's was established in its location in the year 1908. An increasing population of Irish immigrants began to increase the need for a Catholic church in the area. It was constructed using the Gothic Revival style that was popular among churches in this time. St Johns closed down in the 1970s when it merged with another local church. Although the merger took place, the building has not been used in decades and has fallen into series disrepair.
